500 Yard Fun Shoot

This is not a match.  It’s informal like general shooting on the 100/200 yard rifle range.  The only requirements are:

• Your choice of rifle and ammo must produce supersonic bullet velocity at 500 yards or the shots won’t register.
• Be zeroed at 100 or 200 yards.  From there, it’s straightforward to readjust your elevation to be on paper at 500 yards.
• Show up!

This is a free event for club members.  We have 10 prone and 4 bench positions.  There’s plenty of room for everybody. 

Parking is West of the yellow chain barrier and sign.  Do not go past the barrier.  The 100/200 yard rifle and pistol range is closed for this event.

IMPORTANT:  It’s the member’s responsibility to be zeroed at 100 or 200 yards.  Spotting misses at 500 yards isn’t easy and electronic target damage is expensive to repair.
